The house is placed as a standalone volume within the landscape, surrounded by productive farmland. Its layout allows the gardens to become part of an endless
landscape, extending the domestic space into the vast open field.
Openings are framed, establishing visual relationships in multiple directions between the house, its immediate natural surroundings, and the expansive plain beyond.
As one moves through the house, a sequence of narrow spaces opens toward deep, long views, revealing the horizon.
A strong geometric and material contrast defines the relationship between walls and roof. A concrete hat—initially liquid in its construction process—conceals its
structural skeleton and partially overflows its footprint and perimeter. This joint is celebrated through the shadows it casts, which shift and curve throughout the day,
revealing the transition from the fluid heaviness of concrete to its final monolithic condition. In contrast, below, masonry walls and brick flooring express their material
composition and construction over time.
The solidity of the large concrete roof is lightened by the introduction of a exterior wooden roof that rests delicately above it, supported by a V-shaped column that
touches the brick floor with minimal contact. This sheltered outdoor space invites inhabitation and pause, offering a place to sit and engage with the surrounding
landscape, where the reddish tones of brick and wood balance the changing light of sunrise and sunset.

Se dispone exenta en el lote, en un terreno rodeado del campo productivo. Se organiza de tal manera que los jardines de la casa son parte de un paisaje infinito.
Asimismo, las aberturas de la casa se yuxtaponen y enmarcan hacia un lado y al otro la relación de la vivienda con la ‘naturaleza´ inmediata y la vasta llanura.
Esto permite al sujeto que la recorre la secuencia de espacios estrechos, alcanzar una mirada profunda a través de sus vanos que dejan ver mas allá.
El contraste entre el cerramiento y la cubierta es geométrico y matérico. Un sombrero de hormigón inicialmente líquido oculta su esqueleto y se desborda
parcialmente de su huella y perímetro. Éste encuentro se celebra a través de la sombra que curva según el momento del día. Se evidencia, como síntesis del
proceso constructivo, el pasaje de la pesadez líquida del hormigón al monolitismo. Y en su opuesto, lo que sucede debajo, donde los mampuestos y piso de
ladrillo evidencian a lo largo del tiempo su composición y proceso.
La solidez del gran techo de hormigón se vuelve ligera mediante la introducción de un techo semicubierto de madera, se posa ligero sobre el mismo, y luego con
una columna en ‘v’ que llega al solado de ladrillo con el menor contacto posible. Este lugar invita a las personas a sentarse y disfrutar la vida de los exteriores, así
como también, los tonos rojizos del ladrillo y de la madera que al amanecer y al atardecer se equilibran con la luz del sol.
