Located on the outskirts of Villa Amelia, in the Santa Fe pampas—where agricultural land is transitioning toward suburban development—the project
proposes a playful public space for a new residential subdivision, establishing a point of encounter and orientation within the vast flatness of the landscape.

The design draws inspiration from taperas—ruined rural structures scattered across the pampas that, despite their deterioration, remain legible within
the territory. These fragments of abandoned agricultural infrastructure operate as a cultural reference, embodying a dialectical relationship between
history and territory.

This reference is translated architecturally through a series of freestanding brick walls, strategically distributed across the site. Each wall incorporates an
opening that frames views toward the horizon, emphasizing the depth and scale of the surrounding landscape. Rather than forming a closed composition,
the walls remain disaggregated, allowing space, sightlines, and movement to flow between them.

Playground equipment, infrastructure, and urban furniture are carefully arranged among the walls, creating recreational areas that are visually and functionally
integrated with their surroundings. While some walls define specific play zones, their porous materiality ensures visual permeability, supporting interaction
between children and adults.

The park is completed with a variety of ground surfaces that provide both functional and environmental benefits, responding to the need for permeable and
absorbent soils adapted to local climatic conditions and public use. Hollow bricks are also used in pathways, bicycle racks, and drinking fountains, generating
a consistent material expression throughout the site.

Overall, Parque en la Pampa functions as both a community space and a contemporary interpretation of the pampas landscape. It invites users to reconnect
with the memory of the territory while inhabiting a public space that mediates between past and present, structure and nature.
