Dunes, bluffs, and slopes are assumed as the site’s spatial structure. The topography is not corrected but instead organizes the layout and the placements. The circulation follows the natural relief, generating a sequence of approaches, expansions, and viewpoints that intensify the visual and physical relationship with the coastal landscape.
The proposal envisions a comprehensive transformation of the site based on a fundamental operation: recovering ground for the landscape and reorganizing its relationship with public use. The removal of previously privatized areas restores territorial continuity and expands open surface, redefining the seaside facility as an open system integrated into its surroundings.
The architectural intervention is conceived from a minimal footprint. Built elements are precisely placed, configuring areas of shade and gathering without interrupting the continuity of the ground. Permanent occupation is limited to the preservation and renovation of three existing buildings; all other structures are conceived as seasonal and demountable devices, reducing physical impact on the territory. Rather than autonomous objects, they operate as mediators between topography and public use.
The landscape strategy is based on the preservation and reinforcement of existing vegetation, incorporating native species adapted to the coastal environment that stabilize the soil and strengthen biodiversity. Vegetation is not understood as ornament, but as living infrastructure that structures open space and fosters a pedagogical relationship with the environment, making the site’s natural dynamics visible.
Paths and walkways are resolved through permeable and lightweight systems that allow natural water infiltration and coastal dynamics.
Sustainability is incorporated as a territorial logic: minimal occupation, constructive reversibility, and natural processes. The seaside complex is redefined as an inhabited landscape, where architecture, vegetation, and territory are articulated in balance.
